Default Longest ever flight for an AA 757

A friend in dispatch told my he thought this was the longest flight duration for an AA 757. MAD-JFK in 9 Hours, 4 Minutes. I didn't think that was even possible.

American Airlines (AA) #95 ? 20-Jan-2014 ? LEMD / MAD - KJFK ? FlightAware

That's a long time to be crammed into a single-aisle airplane.

I said AA 757, I think United may have a few different specs, United also holds longest schedules 757 service with Berlin-Newark

If you dial back the speed to .76-78 with the econ setting. Then put on 74,000 pounds of fuel, 11+ hours of flight time is available.

The UA 757s that fly transatlantic are all ex-CO birds that also have the RB211s.

The longest flight for aircraft ....... maybe. The longest flight for any Pilot is any dead-head flight, coach class, middle seat.

AA95's block time was 9:39. Was the 9:38 off/on or block time?
