USAPA coast amendment fails

Too bad, so sad.

Thanks to the unity of PHX.

I didn't really understand what it was but since the Philly reps were pushing it I voted no by default.

There ya go, opening your mouth to prove it...

I am not sure it will really matter much in the end.

I know that this will speed up the demise of usapa and get us to apa faster.

Another victory for AOL. Well done. Sincerely, it's huge and truly worthy of it's own thread.

You prove you don't know squat with every post.

Seriously there was no attempt to even explain what the hell this was about. "Here is this thing. Vote for it."

I don't think the failure had anything to do with PHX...

This vote does not so much reflect USAPA as a problem, but that it's members are not informed.

These results mean that the representation ratio of USAPA after Single Transportation System and during Seniority Integration will fall from 1 rep to 300 pilots to 1:1100. Many US Airways pilots find it difficult getting a call or email returned these days. This may become impossible after STS.

West pilots as a block voted against having their own BPR reps continue to represent them. Look at how unsuccessful TWA's DFR was. A later DFR won't grant everything lost by giving up further representation. #livinginthepast

The four remaining officers will be much easier for APA or newAmerican to incentivize. That being said, I believe the four remaining US Airline Pilot Association officers will make the right decisions on behalf of the group.

Yeah, but a group of four is pretty small.

Easier to keep tabs on and prosecute.
