Default Second round of TBNT emails?

I applied at AA almost immediately after they opened their hiring window. A few months later I received the TBNT (thanks but no thanks) email, presumably for the personality assessment. After the mandatory 6 month waiting period the software allowed me to take the test again. I've retaken the test and have heard nothing from AA since. Has anyone else done the same thing? I saw many other people post on earlier threads of getting the TBNT email but nothing recently on the subject. Since a person's personality doesn't change much in 6 months I'd have to think that the answers I gave the first time around that got me rejected are the same answers that would get me rejected on a second attempt as well. The fact that I've heard nothing I'm interpreting as a limited 'good' sign. Is anyone else in the same boat?

Relax. Keep calm and carry on.

Best of luck.

PS
Rejection is no reflection on whether you are a good candidate or not. There are legions of well qualified pilots who are great people that have been rejected. It's been happening since the dawn of the airline.

Just keep grinding out the apps.

Take 757HI's advice. He sums it up correctly.

Failing a personality test means you won't fit their mold.

Good luck

I've had my stuff in since the window opened. Took the assessment. Update monthly. Nothing.

Same boat as you Buford. Applied in the first window, TBNT roundabout last December. Retook the personality test a couple weeks ago and have heard nothing since. No news is good news? Or they figure your personality doesn't change much in six months and just wanted to see who the chumps are who will take it again?

Any updates from anyone who received a TBNT letter a while back? I put this thread up a while ago and wanted to revive it to see if anyone is in the know- I never really did get an exact answer to my original post.

So my question is this- has anyone who received a TBNT letter from AA ever gotten a second one as well? I received the letter, waited six months to do the online assessment again, and am now in limbo. My assessment now reads 'completed' so am I to assume I've now passed the second time around? Or perhaps I haven't passed but AA is not informing me of a second failure? Anyone know if I can read anything into this- am I still in the running at AA?

You are good. I was in the same boat as you. I subsequently got hired after the 6 months was up. No news is good news. Just keep updating and waiting. Hope that helps.
