Lol, that was my guess, I just scrolled up and saw yours!

R57 relay 01-29-2015 10:43 AM

Pass 57-43. But I thought the F/As would pass by about 70% and Parker wouldn't offer us anything over the MTA, so my crystal ball is a little fuzzy.

BGD011 01-29-2015 11:26 AM

Any idea at what time tomorrow the results will be announced?

justjack 01-29-2015 11:29 AM

Vote closes at 9am. The email that I got said 'by afternoon.'

Sliceback 01-29-2015 11:44 AM

Results expected to be released by noon CST.

Pass 70+. The "Sky Nazi" moniker will officially be forfeited and forever lost. It will be replaced with something sounding similar to "Sky Panzers", but totally opposite. .

bernouli 01-29-2015 11:55 AM

77/23 pass. 96% voting.

I don't think it will pass by that high of a margin (and could actually fail by a very narrow margin). As for our label going forward, should this pass, I like "The Marshmellow Club". It signifies a soft bag of objects that easily melts to become a gooey mess.

Parker, Kirby and Glass will certainly know exactly what we are as a group and even if we could some how herd this ragtag group of distracted cats, we'd have nothing left to use as leverage the next time around. The 3 stooges will laugh at us in 2020 and quite frankly they should. The funniest aspect may be many of those who voted yes thinking they'll be relevant to "fight another day" (some of the dopier reps are actually promoting such nonsense) and then being the chest-thumpers advocating bringing knives to a gun fight.

I plan to laugh my a$$ off. ;)

Route66 01-29-2015 12:05 PM

51yes/49no

Hueypilot 01-29-2015 12:50 PM

Pass 53-47

Heretic666 01-29-2015 01:30 PM

Price Is Right comment drew me in. 63/27 yes. Other 10% didn't know how to use their IPADs to vote :D. 18% apathy, no vote at all.
I am a no vote. I may, or may not know, but what I know, I know; and no is the correct vote for us.

ackattacker 01-29-2015 02:11 PM

Everybody seems to assume it'll pass. Even those people who are voting no "to send a message". Same thing happened with the F/A vote so I predict a repeat... fail by 16 votes.

You are right. 70% would be an indication that Jerry Glass failed.. By giving too much.

Oh come on man, you just screwed me more than I screwed my other fellow pilot...oh, wait, nevermind...

Cactusone 01-29-2015 03:12 PM

Fails by 17 votes, proves pilots are slightly dumber than FA's. :D

Bad-Andy 01-29-2015 04:11 PM

My guess is fail 52-48%, 85% voting.

But, I'm still holding out hope that I'm wrong. Voted yes, but will still get up and face the day on Saturday, regardless of the outcome...

bigscrillywilli 01-29-2015 04:33 PM

I'm going to demand a recount either way!!

Haha epic! Whatever happens pass or fail I hope it's by 51% so everyone can hear more rabble rabble rabble!

ERflyer 01-29-2015 05:22 PM

At Delta our last contract passed 62-38.

But that was for a 3 1/2 year contract which expires this year.
Six years seems too long. You'd be better voting no on this and at least getting the average of us and UAL on Jan. 1. We'll probably get a nice raise on our next contract if your vote fails. Otherwise we will have a ceiling limited by your pay.

If it fails: We will most likely convert a portion of our profit sharing to pay - a more guaranteed income. This would make our rates higher along with a regular raise not tied to profit sharing thus increasing your pay. I think we'd get at least 25% over 4 years.

If your contract passes - let's be honest. Delta will say our total pay, which includes profit sharing is already greater than your pay. They won't give us much of a raise.

Industry pay will stagnate for the next 5 years with 3% raises as our company's make $10B a year.

So true. Plenty of facebook posts calling for a chance to vote turned into firm NO votes after the BOD passed it to us. I think we can expect 70% yes, 20% no, and 10% internet tough guy no, so roughly 70/30.

Vortexxx 01-29-2015 07:04 PM

Fail 67% Pass 33%
PK will be ****ed they did not try to STEAL more from the Green Book! They should have asked for our employee parking, crew meals and increased D2 costs to achieve that magic 51% of $Greedy$ & Fearful PinHeads:cool:
The Next LOST decade, so sad! I too am hoping for miracle.

InformationEcho 01-29-2015 07:42 PM

It'll pass handily, but nary a soul will admit to voting yes.

The wailing will be comical when it starts.

I'm not afraid to admit I voted yes. There is no other choice given the circumstances.

Despite all this Internet babbling and certain domicile rep's rhetoric, I predict passage of this agreement. What are all you chat board blowhards gonna do when it passes? Go talking smack to the majority of your fellow pilots for voting yes? If this passes, all of you diehard "no" advocates will be the minority.

Samuelson 01-29-2015 11:25 PM

I'll go with the statistics. Of the 22 guesses thus far, the average is 54/46 Pass. Some have already guessed both 53/47 and 55/45 but no one has guessed 54/46 so that will be mine.

SilverandSore 01-30-2015 01:59 AM

In case of a tie breaker, I'll say 89% turnout.

And when 2020 rolls around nobody will care what happens with what the APA wants and keep coming to work to do their job no matter all their dying "saber rattling" and strike threats.
