Junior LAA Captain
When I look at the enhanced 3xp, it looks like to me that the most junior LAA captain is seniority number 8216, on the S80 DFW. That's at 78% on this list. I've seen several reference's on this board as well as C&R that the most junior captain is around 6000 out of 10,500 which is more like 57%. Does anyone know what I'm missing?

What you're seeing is a protected ex-TWA captain. The company terminated Supp CC (STL CA-protected base) during the BK. The new arbitrated ruling produced new CA-protected positions on the -80 in DFW and 767 domestic in MIA. They have a right to a certain number of CA slots, and they hold those slots with their AA seniority number, which in many cases is junior to the usual LAA CA seniority. As a result many of them are on reserve. At least that's how I think it works.

Junior CA percentage has typically been in the upper 50's.
At roughly 6000 it's currently 64% of the active seniority list (9100 ish).
Of the overall seniority list it's 58-59% (10100 ish) of the total.
