Plus, they love to ***** and moan about profit sharing. The same 0.0% profit sharing they were so pleased with in our JCBA.... give me a damn break! Let us PLEASE remember that these same boneheads negotiated our horrid JCBA-and not let anyone who had anything to do with that pile of manure have anything to do with the next one. That being said.... do these fools really think Doug will just punch out of our crappy contract unilaterally? Really? Are they seriously that brain-damaged? DUDE! DWI Douggie is sitting back with a 24 pack laughing his a$$ off at you guys. Then he will drive home. |

bootleg is ex-Eagle, he never made it to AA. SO he criticizes an APA contract he's never seen.

I don't know about previous contracts but this one deserves to be criticized. This is a joke and so is the APA
You don't have to work at AA to see what a mess this contract is. I am sure it has been copied and posted in many places for all the world to laugh at. |

In MIA since 01. Our last contract was 1997. There was no 2000 contract since we voted NO to that in Aug 2001. (that was the only time I wanted to vote yes, but my friends persuaded me to wait for DAL+3) Then 2003 TA with the threat "Hey we're on the courthouse steps to declare if you don't sign this" crafted by APA and AA. Then Full court Kick the Can, we never got an 08.,09,10 OR any contract until 2012. Then the 2012 exit BK MTA Merger transition agreement. I'm not a company guy. I'm engaged. I always have been. I dialed over 160 pilots to discuss NO on LBFO1 and NO on LBFO2. LBFO 2 passed in a 74% YES I support an ALPA transition. The Green Book has always been very difficult to read. We used to publish a kitbag contract. I would carry that with me and actually read it thru on the longer legs. I am not defending this contract, but it is better than our 2003 contract which we were working on until 2012. So there's your history lesson. APA has always been weak. APA has always had the worst contracts of all the majors. APA is working on getting a mid contract adjustment. USAir pilots tells us not a chance. I know form working at AA that the only time we get something fixed is when we INUNDATE CP's and VP's VM and email. If we don't complain enmass they think everything is OK. So Historically we haven't had many contracts since 1997. |
Many LUS people, myself included, said that we would never see profit sharing again. We were wrong, so maybe we're wrong about a mid contract adjustment. I just think
we need to approach it differently than trying to beat the company over the head to get it. |

Ralph declared to the media in early 2006 "The company is Unsustainable, more employee cuts coming, How can we help the company" Arpey had release a press announcement saying "We're OK, nothing to see here, we are sustainable" So many times APA has reported back to us "We asked and they said No" We did have one "Sept to remember" Which helped defeat LBFO1 during BK. You cannot accomplish anything here at AA unless you jeopardize something MGMT beholds...D-10 D+0 that will get their attention and Fatigue calls. I've met Dan Carey, I think if anyone can convince Doug, it might be him. Now back to the Eagle Flow thru Lawsuit. |
I don't get why eagle guys are ****ed. Am I missing something ?
