Default Saw the Eagle Flow thru Lawsuit

Flying along, the first officer hands me a copy of the Eagle Flow thru lawsuit.
The last flow thrus to actually sign the flow thru (December 2001). Those that month that actually signed a flow thru that month were delayed until approx. 2010-2011-2013.
This guy NEVER signed a flow thru. He was the first of 150 to not sign a flow thru agreement to be arbitrator awarded a free flow thru.
Then after him, there was the 825 free flow thrus awarded by an arbitrator after him.

He says his occupational date is 2008. He didn't arrive at LAA until early 2013.

He thinks he should be senior to ALL TWA FO's and senior to ALL on SLI since 2008. Even though he didn't begin training at AA until 2013.

He is suing for 2 years pay increase. Since the company decided to offer 2 years extra pay credit for ANY furloughee that returned before Dec 2013.

He then says he hopes this won't BK APA. He says the lawsuit could be worth 40M.

I was pretty speechless and offered. We bought TWA Jan 2001. Early 2002 TWA was wearing the AA uniform, using the AA call sign on ATC.
He was suggesting that since TWA was a LLC until 2003. He should be senior to ALL TWA FO's.

THIS GUY NEVER SIGNED A FLOW THRU AGGREEMENT

Hopefully you asked for another coffee and wet wipes after the one you were drinking ended up going through your nose and all over the console.

The only people who benefit from these dumbass suits are the lawyers. Pilots (as a whole) are extremely gullible-and the kind of lawyers who dream up this horse crap know it..

First I thought this was a drunk post (I have *never* done that! ), but the writing was too coherent and structured.

What's next? APA demanding contract improvements before 2020?

Surely, you can't be serious!

Sir are saying Doug won't open up negotiations early?!? Lol! Personally, I'm enjoying watching Dougie spank these LAA guys with this contract. Unfortunately we are getting it too. Watched the video with the new APA president in it talking about not sitting around with this contract until 2020. All I can say is wow what a fkn idiot. We are doomed lol! It's all good for a laugh though

Let's have a $3,600 dinner (on APA's dime unless we get caught!) over our current contract! What do you say?

Amazing. They aren't going to go to bat over the forced 2003 AA work rules that LUS pilots never agreed to and make AA implement the contract as promised (remember when they kept saying "it'll happen at FOS cutover"?). But they are going to wrestle with AA management over opening contract negotiations 3 years early? I'm sure Parker will gladly do so (sarcasm).

The *******s running APA know they are in trouble. With the talk about ALPA of late, they are trying to make it look like they are doing something.

Plus, they love to ***** and moan about profit sharing. The same 0.0% profit sharing they were so pleased with in our JCBA.... give me a damn break!

Let us PLEASE remember that these same boneheads negotiated our horrid JCBA-and not let anyone who had anything to do with that pile of manure have anything to do with the next one.

That being said.... do these fools really think Doug will just punch out of our crappy contract unilaterally? Really? Are they seriously that brain-damaged?

Sounds good--then we can have drinks and "snacks" for $15,000.00 on ALPA.

This idiots lawsuit money is being mis-spent, should have enjoined ALPA for "Duty of Fair Representation"

Then go out and get more snacks.
