KIX- Airport Hotel

If you can get off the rock, you have enough time to ride the train downtown and go for a look. My favorite in Japan is a nap, or a second or third nap.
Every minute that your asleep in Japan, is like a minute that your not in Japan.

Stayed at the KIX airport hotel a few years back. Room was small but, like HSLD implies, you don't notice when your eyes are closed . Had a reasonable bed, internet (separate charge -$10ish?), and the best part was that the price (hotel & plane ticket) was within the accepted fare. Ramp has name/Phone #, and might even make the reservation for you if you email nicely.

There is also the ANA Gate Tower hotel, right on the other side of the bridge in Rinku Town, and the train even stops within 100 yds of the hotel. Also for a little cheaper, there is the Washington Hotel, which is right across from the Gate Tower Hotel. The rooms there are small (crusie ship size), but for a short rest they are fine. I believe both hotels charge for internet, but it is the usual price ($10)..
