Any update on lifting this ban now that protocols are settling in to place, and at least trans-Atlantic travel seems to be opening up?

A quick Google search indicates that protocols have not been established or settled in place. Americans currently cannot travel to the EU unless they meet one of a very few number of exceptions (essential transportation workers being one of them.) A lot of reporting indicates "soon", but I suspect until there is ACTUAL normalization of traffic no changes will be made.

I have had zero issues jumpseating to and from the E.U. (Dual citizen) on United, Kalitta, AA and Delta last few months. Just make sure you comply with testing requirements on both sides of the pond. Atlas however does not allow JS international yet again as far as I am aware. The above mentioned however will take you as long as you have a right to enter those countries
