get your 1000 pic and get out of the regionals ASAP. The longer you stay there the more comfortable you will get. If the choice were to get stuck at a regional or get stuck at an acmi I would much prefer the latter. At least you’ll make a wage worth the cost of training.

Doesn’t mean you can’t apply outside the flow. Unless that flow is CPZ to Frontier lol. A 10 year flow sounds like bad timing anyway.

Or the 10yr flow issue was just part of the lost decade after 9/11 - thousands were stuck in. Just spitballing.

Lost decade was primarily two reasons. 9/11 caused a reduced, sustained passenger ridership. Secondly, the FAA raised the mandatory retirement age from 60 to 65, so retirements essentially stopped.
