For what it's worth, and I'm not sure whether this is what you're referring to: From mid-2009 to late 2010, Boeing delivered eight 777Fs to Aerologic, which were assigned tail numbers D-AALA through D-AALH. All were leased from a company called Deucalion Aviation Funds. In 2013, Deucalion reduced its exposure to Aerologic by selling the 3 latest-produced aircraft (AALF, AALG, and AALH). AALG was acquired by BBAM, whereas AALF and AALH were acquired by Titan. All the sales were subject to the existing leases, meaning that the acquiring companies took over as the lessors to Aerologic. Deucalion (or its successor; it was on the block for a while) continues to this day to lease the first 5 to Aerologic.
AALF and AALH, the ones on which Titan is the dry-lessor, are currently in heavy and regular use by Aerologic. They are flying today, for example.
So, yeah, AAWW, via its Titan subsidiary, has two 777s based in LEJ that have been flown by Aerologic for a decade and are still being flown by it. But Titan dry-leases aircraft to all sorts of airlines, and indeed AAWW is looking to continue to grow that business. So I don't see any particular significance to them owning two 10-year-old 777s that are leased to their initial-delivery airline via Titan's acquisition of the initial purchase lease from the lessor that initiated that lease.
I don't know the term of the two leases; perhaps they're up soon, If they were originally 10-year leases, they would be up in roughly July and November of 2020, but given that Aerologic seems to be running hard and adding aircraft these days, I would be surprised if they hadn't extended those leases already. I could check, but it's not worth the effort unless there's a specific question on the table.
[The rest of Aerologic's current fleet was added in 2017 (two aircraft from GECAS) and 2019 (4 aircraft from a couple of lessors). The two leased from GECAS were placed by GECAS at Aerologic after LAN/LATAM returned them to GECAS at about 7 years of age. The other 12 were delivered new from the Boeing factory.]

wjcandee, always impressed at your level of knowledge, thank you. I was not referring to either of the Aerologic B777s titan owns. One was N704GT that is painted all white. It has been sitting at LEJ since May 7th, 2019. I believe it is currently for sale. The second one was either N702GT or N703GT, which appears that it was a temporary park.

Atlas/Southern last 5 classes had about 15 pilots total. Probably the next classes will be full for a while. Atlas is bringing four 747 BCFs out of the desert...think these were parked after Xmas peak. The Southern pilots I talked to said they are trying to add a 777 next month.

Preferential Hire List?
Alright team, got the old preferential hire list email- albeit not an offer- but a successful interview.. Studied my bollocks off for it too, so happy I have a positive result from the hard work. What are the wait times on these things generally? Has COVID- 19 slowed classes down? I'd say it may have with Cali going into lock down and other states soon to follow suite.
Thanks in advance ya'll!!
