If true, that would be typical JO ... buy one get the others cheap.

For someone on the outside, can you explain what you mean by “notes from expressjet and gojet?”

Did your union buddies tell you differently? Ones who use outsiders to do the negotiating because they are complete idiots? I know who they are, waving the rates around the crew room like they did all the work. Excited they got the rates. One Captain was mad because the rates kept getting bounced back to ALPA national and wanted to settle for less. It took 3 bounces to National before approval. FedEx guy at National actually did all the work for the pilot group on the still crap rates.

Terms43,
Take the standing bid for FO and when you are making year 1, 737 Pay at $52 and hour vs your current $70 as CA we can all laugh at your expense for referencing the contract. Then again you are probably seat locked so that doesn’t apply.

Once again you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Instead you continue to spread lies. Your pay is based off of years at the company (longevity) not years on the equipment. To suggest otherwise is complete ignorance or stubborn denial of facts. Seriously go read 3-A it’s only one sentence long, it requires minimal effort out of you to do so. Stop being lazy.

Edit:

here I’ll actually make this easier for you since you lack any sort of effort to actually go read your contract. this is copy pasted directly from the PWA. And I’ve even gone one step further for you and underlined and made the legally important words bold for you.

3-A Pilots will receive hourly flight pay based on their status
(position/equipment) and length of service with the Company as follows:

Keyboard warrior. Wave to me when you are making $52 an hour. I don’t trust the union or the company.

I remember Mesa guys in our JFK crashpad, bragging that they’re taking Comair flying while OH was announcing furloughs. The same guys used the “it’s just a career step” argument that I hear today. Then I sat on a Freedom -900 on a dead head flight. We pushed back, disconnected and the mechanics went to work changing a tire. With a full load of pax. They were out on time though...

“Length of service” may not refer to the “new” company. I wonder if Mesa would consider a new seniority list. You know, like an “A” list. You guys could be the “A Listers” and they could pick their “best” candidates based on sick calls and lack of job prospects outside of Mesa. Then, if the company folds, you could maybe get “preferential” interview slots for your old job.

Can’t, this was put in to keep a “freedom” situation from ever happening again.

“1-B Scope

1-B-1 Except as provided in Section 1-B-2 below, all present and future flying of any form performed in and for the service of the Company shall be performed by pilots on the Mesa Air Group Pilot System Seniority List in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The phrase "present and future flying of any form performed in and for the service of the Company" includes without limitation all such flying 1) on the Company's aircraft (whether leased or owned), or 2) under the Company's operational control, including wet leases and contracting for other carriers or entities (government, military or commercial).”

1-B-2 is a Caveat that allows it, if the company doesn’t have the planes and pilots, for a 60 day period as long as no MAG pilot is on furlough.

So Mesa could start a separate company that doesn’t say “Mesa” on it...Y’all are kind of dense.
