Future of 76 at Atlas

So without much fanfare the Amazon contract was extended for 3 years only to match the 10 drylease contract of the 76 airframes.
Are these aircraft still being upgraded or just run out of cycles?
My understanding the military doesn’t like the 76 anymore and neither do the sports teams/ VIP charters.
So if you get hired now on the 76 you’ll be finished with OE by Dec and possibly only have till May 2026 before displacement to another type. That would be well before what the current upgrade time runs.
Most Junior Capt is 02/18 hire date.
Too soon to tell?

LDS Upgrades are still ongoing, should be complete early next year. We were told one of the pax birds was going in to a freighter conversion.
Either we have more freighters with better displays in the future, or they are being made more marketable for Titan. I am going to enjoy the ride while it lasts and be happy about four plus years seniority of bumping rights if needed.

Beyond two years from now, anything could happen.

I am PDX based, it is super junior. Nearly all Amazon flying on the primary lines, although we recently have had some Captain pax trips and CA / FO reserve lines in SEA, presumably for pax trips.
The top two FOs are Sim instructors, everyone else is a 2022 hire. Most of the FO list is actually still in training, although for the September bid I would expect maybe three more to come off of OE and join the bid. That means more bidding choices and hopefully variety. Usually a few Secondary lines, and I did get a couple of European and Japan trips this past winter on those lines. But four months of min guarantee and I was eager to escape to higher credit lines.
Primary lines have mostly been RFD turns, super easy, bankers hours. CVG turns are a bit tough, it has been about a 28 hour layover in CVG. Amazon seems to have changed their times up recently, so I am expecting to be surprised on the 15th.
