767 Questions...
I was given a CJO back in the fall and was originally awarded the 777, but ended up having to defer my class date. My first choice was the 767. They said they would do their best to accommodate this request once my issue was resolved (which should be in the next couple of weeks), but obviously could not say for sure until a new class date was awarded.
I was curious, what the current need is for the 767, and the likelihood of being awarded a class date? Where are the junior bases for the 767? What does a typical monthly schedule look like?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Junior base in training is CVG, but you can hold ONT/JFK/PDX before training is over. TPA and IAH are a lot more senior.
Depending on base the 767 flying can vary widely, but expect split lines with mainly domestic Amazon flying between the hubs. One leg a day, long layovers. JFK flying can be mainly Secondary Lines flying pax over to Europe.

Not sure of the current need and likelihood, given we just ordered new 777s.

Thanks for your quick reply. Totally understand the need part.. One of the allures to the 767 (other than being a cool aircraft!) was that the days on/off were shorter that the 777. Not sure if anything has changed since the fall, but would you mind sharing what the typical lines (or reserve availabilty periods) days on/off cycles are for both the 767 and 777?
Thanks again!

Hawaii, domestic Amazon as well. There's 3 sims in Miami and 1 sim in Tokyo. For Miami, majority of your initial sims will be in the 2 older sims that have limited visuals, but it's not bad. There's a newer LDS sim you'll use for differences. The sim in Tokyo is modern.

The sim quality doesn't matter at all tbh. Just a bit wonky on the visuals, but everything else is decent.
