Consolidated. :)

Roger that on recharging after Clark. Anderson served much the same purpose!

Sorry for the unintended thread drift. Now back to your regularly scheduled hiring thread ====>

Atlas Air Online Tech Test

Hello all...I spent a good part of the morning reading this thread from page 1 through the end. Lots of great info about the company and the hiring process. I have past ACMI experience on the DC10, so I am familiar with the schedule, lifestyle, etc... I made it through the phone interview and I am preparing to take the online tech test. I was wondering if anyone has taken the test lately? Curious about the content...I know there is info on some of the previous pages in this thread, but I also have heard the content is changed every 90 days or so. Just thought I would see if there is any new intel out there.

Thanks for the help!

But being the red-headed stepchild of Air Combat Command was worse still.

thanks

Congrats, and I hope they call you soon for the face to face.

Now, for the purposes of what this thread is mainly about, IE helping others get hired at Atlas, can you either validate or refute the info I specifically gave you for your phone screen?

Pay it forward........

VF32TomCat 07-15-2011 01:59 PM

the reason i ask is because I was wondering what was the normal waiting time. the info provided for the phone screen was exellent and the tech test that is posted in previous pages in this thread is a good reference.
so any idea what is the normal time to be call for a personal interview.

thank you all

They must have changed their procedure, because this is the first time I have heard of them actually giving a score immediately like that. Everyone I have ever known to take the test got a "P" if they passed it.

Anyway> I emailed the HR person after passing the test and simply told them "Good news, I passed today and looking forward to the next step." I received a call the next day 8 June and was in Miami the following Monday for the Tuesday interview on 14 June. I received the "pool" letter on 23 June (9 days later) and was called on 11 July after swimming for 18 days and invited to the 1 August 744 class. There is no way to really know how long or short your stay in the pool will be. According to the interview folks, it depends on your total interview score which I believe includes everything starting from the intitial screening call, to the online technical assesment and finally the actual interview in Miami.

I hope this helps with the overall timeline picture.
Best of luck on the personal interview!
See you in Miami
