Atlas Air Hiring
#2681
Plus if they finally start -8 differences this spring, that'll add a day of classroom and two days procedures trainer to all the recurrent events. I know they want to turn the classroom slide show into home study but just pushing everyone through the trainer two at a time for 8 hours, that's two months non-stop 24 hours a day that it's not available for new hires. I think WD is right, the pipeline is plugged.

I interviewed in April. I received my rejection letter via FedEx about a week after the interview. They took 8/12 interviewed. Very professional, 4 to 5 panel interview. I was impressed and bummed simultaneously. If you are selected, prepare. My last two jobs were BS sessions with the chief pilot. I walked into Atlas thinking I was God's gift and found out I was a worker at the Babel site. I had 3 internal recommendations, but didn't bother getting the letters from the guys. Sooo.....it's HR's ball game here, NOT the pilots. Jump through da hoops.

Not that we needed it, but it looks like we applicants just got a few more months of interview prep! I just hope our post-test, pre-interview application process just gets frozen rather than flushed!! The job is certainly worth the wait!!

Oh, I'm going to keep shooting til I get in. I've got to find out how soon I can reapply. 6 or 12 months. This time around I'll be 100% professional instead of myself.
Thanks for the kind words.

Its 1 year. The only reason I remember is because in my interview they asked me what I would do if I did not get the job. I said, "reapply the next day" and Denise responded with, "you must wait 1 year to reapply". To that I said, "well I guess I shouldnt have all my eggs in the Atlas basket then, maybe I should have a backup plan....hmmm.

But yes, when I interviewed earlier this year, she told us it was a year.
