Oh don't get me wrong, 744. I'll be a light twin driver the instant "the opportunity" presents itself. 'Till then, we'll try to save you the right side during your DH's. Just don't run the wet bar out of ice.

DC8,

I'll be vacating the 767 in favor of the Whale in about 15 month (if there are vacancies of course)...damn, it's been almost two years in the 767 out of the three year lock we have in the CBA...

Lots of guys will likely do that as soon as their 3 years are up...

Have you guys on the light twin side heard if there are any upgrades expected on the 767 in relation to the new VIP airframe just announced?

No, no affect on staffing since it has such low utilization. I don't know about the captain side, but it sure seems like we have more than enough bodies in the right seat.

You can say that again!! I was only out 11 days last month! I'm wondering if I can get a whole month of R1, home reserve, and not get called.

I'll let you know. 17 days of R1 starts Friday.

Nice that they worked you right up to guarantee, though!

Last couple months for me have credited 50 and 58, respectively. I think that was due to some pairing issues, though.

We'll see if my 17 days of R2 holds up next month...I could definitely use the pay!

I had all R2 this month, sent me out for 11 days, then converted the rest to R1.

If I may... What are R1 and R2?

R1 = home reserve.
R2 = hotel reserve.
