Just saw today's group finely-dressed candidates in the Training Center...for those that are curious, ALL were wearing ties, most in suits, and a couple in blazers and slacks...but ALL in ties.

So, can we put that one to bed?!!:D:rolleyes:

Donkey,

Sorry to be a dream killer, but I was current despite the Staff Job. The AF sent me downrange as a MC-12 guy. The MC-12 (KingAir 350) gave me a 'free' ATP, 700hrs, and most important recency of experience.

cobbs - Were you non-current when you got picked up? I saw the AF staff job and I am sitting in one myself. Haven't heard of a single non-current pilot being hired and am looking for hope. Thanks.

There was one a couple of classes behind me. He was an AMC guy.

Cobbs, from the way you worded your question I guess you're not interested in the 76? The 767 also has a 50 hour guarantee the first year, then 62 after your first year is complete. :D:rolleyes:

Edit: Wow, you're already hired and didn't know this...nevermind.

Not to pick on Cobb, but it's posts like this that has me scratching my head about the HR dept. Some others who have just submitted and get called? Just another frustrated ACMI-dawg patiently waiting. BTW, congrats Cobb, good luck!

Not really a hiring question but I'm a new guy about to start OE and I have ATL as my gateway - just wondering if anyone knows of good (cheap) place to park around the airport since I'll have to drive to ATL to start my trips.

Thanks Guys.

PS I did read this whole thread prior to being hired and it was invaluable - and I don't remember this question being asked:-)

I'm an ATL guy as well as many others. Where are you based?
