From 01 December 2023 on the March seniority list we have 88 new 747 FOs, 43 new 777 FOs, and 36 new 767 FOs. These numbers don't acount for class size and attrition, just who was on property 5 weeks ago. Granted, the current list may show a greater split when looking at the latest classes for the 777 and 767.

So how about this, 747 50% odds, 777 30%, and 767 20%? +/- 10%

They are currently assigning approx 25-30 to the 74 every three weeks and have been doing class sizes of around 20 on the 77. The 76 has been around 10. As mentioned, the reputation of the 76 has attracted a lot of attention and is requested frequently.

Thusly, the advice that "if you ask for the 76 you will likely get" is inaccurate. Many candidates express discontent when they don't get what they ask for.

The 76 fleet isn't growing while the 77 knows no bounds, for hiring one can expect further attention to the two larger airframes.

^Good to have a diverse portfolio depending on the environment, etc., but as mentioned above the larger airframes are the big money makers for this outfit rather then areas of low profit margins.

The fact that you have an interview lined up is promising. Can you tell the group more about your situation? Did you ultimately pass training at Spirit and are now looking at furlough or were you let go?

What's your "elevator pitch" about the situation and what you learned/how you grew? FWIW, no longer at Atlas.

Youll be fine as long as you own up the failure and dont blame anyone else for it. Had you not subsequently passed it would be differrent. Good luck!

You should be alright as long as you tell people what happened.

I recently applied and have a phone screen scheduled at the end of May. Any insight into what this entails and how I can prepare?

The phone screening is a resume review and a general virtual meet and greet. You will get the opportunity to ask some questions and it's generally low threat. Assuming it goes well, you will be given a packet of study material to prepare for the technical part of the interview which will be scheduled later in tandem with the HR portion. Typical interview TMAAT questions and general decision making processes. I suggest going through your mental roll-a-dex and prepare responses about how you have dealt with difficult crew members, when you've made a mistake as a pilot and what you learned from it, etc.
Good luck and let us know how it all goes.
