For the guys trying...it will get easier as the pilot shortage worsens. More guys will leave atlas, and the number/quality of the applicants will go down....just like at every other airline, so each applicants chances will get better.

Does anybody have any idea, how many pilots have left Atlas?

me as well, 8 yrs, 5 types (including 747 and 744) crickets.

As for retirements, I forget the exact numbers, but @ 25-30ish a year?

Remember, it is one thing to absolutely hate this job (or any other, I guess), but to actually get yourself to apply, and get hired, and then actually leave?...not that easy, especially after you get to this level of flying. It's kinda like the pyramid thing...it gets smaller at the top, so there are fewer options that are better than the current one, no matter where you are in the triangle.

Good luck...I'm not trying to discourage anyone, just making a point that the number of pilots leaving Atlas sounds more than the actual number leaving!!

Search function keeps locking up my iPhone! Anybody taken the test with a Mac? I got the invite and I'm on a 4-day and it's all I have, but don't want to wait past the weekend if at all possible to take it.

Worked on a MAC for me.

I was thinking it was just the PAQ with Mac issues, but didn't want to start it and have it fall apart after working for over two years to get this far!
