Oh, is this the 5th one or the 6th one? They still haven't got that 5th one online and it's been close to 2 years. Tentatively it supposed to be online on the the 24th of September, yeah like we have heard that before!

Little doubt discussions to sign non-DHL customers for the proven, advanced heavy jet program are ongoing.
What still talking the the Bangladeshis? That's a top flight contract!

Advanced heavy jet program?

SAI owns absolutely NO AIRCRAFT, they don't even have any leased aircraft. Oh, wait they probably still own some Classics out in the desert.

Hey, Connie is STILL flying Classics and making money with them. He needs to talk to DS & DMH, they'll tell him there's NO WAY you could make money with 4 engined aircraft. Boy, I see a lot of 744 & 748 Freighters, they must be run by the most stupid people in the world - they need DS & DMH to set them straight!

METO, yer rantings have the stink of management double speak on them!

It's about ideas, not where they come from. Do they reflect the truth or not, is there something missed anyone might shed a better light on?

I'm sorry your 74 is gone 8.

On the 737 side, are they blocking days on consecutively or close too and allowing easier commuting? I hear its gotten a lot better.
Maybe somebody can describe a typical week on the line? Easy going?

Thanks

The September bid packet looks consistent with recent history. Most with days off all clumped together. Some at either end of the month, some in the middle. A few lines have reserve days to begin the month, about a week off, then the balance of the line, and the remaining GDOs at the end of the month.

Line values range from a high of 51:05 to a low of 20:03, with a median and mean near 40.

The schedules call for a show time around 8pm, about four hours of flight into the hub and back to an outstation or two, about eight to ten hours of sitting in the hub or outstations, and a release into ten or twelve hours of rest just as the world is getting up and starting their day. Do that for four or five days, sit reserve in CVG for two or three, fly a similar schedule for a few more days, then sit reserve for about a week, have your days off, then come back for some more reserve at the end of the month.

Just keep your eye on the ball. You only need to put up with this nonsense for maybe 1000 hours before you can get released back into GenPop. 500 if you're on good behavior.

This too shall pass. This too shall pass.

Anyone know the latest on N778LA? It was ferried over to AUH for the heavy check and then ferried back to South America via AMS and now it's flying for LAN again between VCP, BOG, and MIA?
