Child Support Trouble

Birth control? More like "Don't ever get married" control. Even if you don't have kids, you may get stuck paying alimony which is total b.s.

The comment about only paying $500 a month for two kids, and he need to get another to get her more money. Have u ever been in his situation before. Just think about how much a first year FO makes he can't turn apples into oranges out of his paycheck. The point here is to help pull your HALF not the whole amount. She needs to be out there working also. If one thing burns my hole it is a women that gets divorced gets the kids, so she get child support and alimony, and sits at home and just receives paychecks. While the male slaves and struggles. The comment on him getting custody;yeah right!LOL Its rare this day in time that court will give custody to the father. Its usually always the mother unless she is doesn't want them, or she has problems. In his case him being gone all the time. NO WAY

I assume he means this:
If it...

Rent it, don't own it. I'm not sure what the other two F's are?
I've been pretty lucky with marriage so far, but the experiences of essentially ALL of my friends and associates lead me to believe that prenuptials are critical. Get a good lawyer and set it up so you keep everything you brought into the marriage and pre-define a fair split of assets acquired after the marriage. This will not help wth child support of course.
Also attempt to find a mate who's education and career accomplishments demonstrate a high level of self-sufficiency...she won't need your money, and her pride will probably prevent her from trying to steal it out of spite.

Is she just "sitting at home," or raising the two kids? I don't see how she could raise two children and have a regular full time job unless she uses daycare/babysitters (which also costs $$). The guy can choose to sit at home and raise the kids and have the ex give HIM child support.. but he'll have to quit his pilot job and life. I'm sure he'll want to do that!
