I wanted to ask if any of you, boys and girls, know what are labor rights when you are set in the pool? Even when the company keeps you there for a long period of time, let say.... 2 years and half? And they don't give a class date?

As far as I know, you almost no rights whatsoever, unless they actually promised you something in writing. A pool is not legal employment, it is merely a list of pre-screened applicants who an airline can call on quickly to fill classes.
The company has every right to not call you, change their mind, or call you out of order (informal seniority is usually honored in a pool, but there is absolutely no requirement to that effect). They can also require rescreening for things like criminal history, and can require that you have recency and currency when they call you.
If you got a DUI while in the pool, consider yourself off the swim team.
You do however have the same rights that any other employment applicant would have as far as discrimination goes.

I'm afraid to ask why you are asking a question like this.

And it was my understanding that some places just "flush" the pool. That is anyone who was in the pool they just dump back on the street or require them to rehire from scratch with little preference over the regular joe. It was my understanding that being in a pool was only slightly above "We have your resume on file." Never been in one before but just my gist from on here.

well...its a little more than having a resume on file.... in all the cases I am aware it means you have interviewed with the company, met their standards and they desire to bring you aboard, but you are awaiting a class date. Rights.....none.
