Default Yet another DUI question...

I got arrested for a DUI back in 2005. It got knocked down to a Reckless Driving. At the time I had a private pilot license but was flying for the military. I never reported it to the FAA (I assumend the reporting rule was for pilots on the "outside" and it was Reckless Driving not a DUI) I'm coming up on my commitment and thinking about getting out and flying for the airlines. Seeing that I need to disclose it on the medical waiver, what should I do? Tell the FAA? Hire an aviation lawyer? Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!

You need to obtain the official record of what occurred with the charge and review it with an attorney.
