Can you explain this logic? Why would NATO be at the table...muchless offering concessions? if anything, NATO should be expanded at a far quicker pace.

Any form of conflict here would instantly destroy the European economy. Putin knows there is no solution here, that's why he did it.

The first round of this conflict started with Barack Obama fomenting instability in Ukraine. Now his senile VP is in power, and we have the second act. This is going to be about as popular as Vietnam was at home, especially when we're paying $6/gallon for gas. Putin knows exactly what he's doing. He knows nobody will do anything, because they can't. As I have stated before, we have bankrupted ourselves already. Putin is very aware of this.

Trump is loving this too. He gets to say "told you so" and spend the next two years running his 2024 campaign by just pointing to a gas pump and a grocery cart.

It would destroy our economy too, even more so than the oil prices this summer. He also just basically made NATO irrelevant.

At home, stop with the green BS and accept the fact that fossil fuel isn't going anywhere, in any of our lifetimes. Also, if you want to be clean, nuclear. And lets stop devaluing our currency. That would be nice too. Beyond that, actually give politicians and elites that commit crimes the common man would spend time in prison for, the same punishment. All this would be a major step in the right direction.
