This company was founded by some big names at Google in 2015. They announced on Twitter that they "made the decision to wind down". Their latest project was the "Heaviside" EVTOL aircraft which the USAF had shown an interest in.

The technical problem with eight electrically driven propellers is that they keep cutting the 100 mile long extension cord…

They need to modify some tankers to carry large batteries instead, then they just roll out the extension cord with a drogue chute
