Googles,
I once advised you against arguing with an ideolog.

Methinks I should take my own advice.

And Germany's per capita carbon emissions are about half of the U.S.

I guess our goal should be to mimic the Rwandans and Somalis.

The problem is not that Joe Sixpak disbelieves the charts & graphs, it is that he has spending priorities which seem more urgent right now:
Mama wants a new washer/dryer, Junior enrolls at Bigbux U next fall, Susie needs braces, and the family SUV has an ominous oil leak. He might be willing to take modest steps, like buying a smaller car next time or insulating the attic, because those things could save him money. It will be difficult to persuade him, however, to support a major climate rescue program about which little is known except that it will cost a bundle. If and when a specific Government plan, including who pays and how much, is drawn up, Joe will listen to it (unless somebody has previously closed his mind by calling him a deplorable or a flat-earther.

Joe 'Six Pack' doesn't frequent airline pilot forums, but supposedly well-educated professionals do. Such folks have no excuse for willful ignorance.

Activists have no excuse for incompetent advocacy. Joe has the tax money, the votes, and therefore the power, but you are convincing only those who already believe. That’s a waste of time.

That chart shows CO2 emissions increasing. I think you saw the decrease in Nuclear power as a decrease in the others. That chart supports what I posted 100%. The energy surplus created by renewables, tanked the market causing the increased reliance on fossil fuels. Also, that's installed capacity, not point in time. That chart literally shows they increased capacity by 100%, but increased CO2 production in the process, which is literally my argument. Germany would have been much better off doing nothing. Now they have the additional carbon footprint of severe overcapacity.

That is because they are. The only country where they are decreasing is in the good old USA.

Says the guy who cant figure out why the US, Canada, and Australia have higher per capita CO2 emissions than any one else. Hint; California has to import electricity from Texas when it gets really hot. In a large part because the boobs are so ecologically woke.

Now I get it. You don't know how to read a simple chart, so let's try to simplify things further for you. What number is bigger? 1,248 (1990) or 912 (2015)?
