1963 C-182
Have a very well maintained 1963 C-182 coming up for sale. Incredible condition for it's age. Always hangared. If you are looking, or know of someone who is, for a great condition 4 seater but prefer something with a little more performance and room than a 172 this is a great aircraft. Asking price is $70k.
-Not IFR certified yet. If a requirement for sale the owner will upgrade. -Has dash mounted Garmin 496 -New paint/interior -Engine overhauled with 300/400hrs. Here's a few pictures. PM if interested and I'll get you the basic information on the aircraft. I won't be doing a full scale appraisal on it for a few days still. As you can tell this aircraft has been very well maintained and is in excellent condition. All original logs. http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/9163/1821m.jpg http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/8360/1822w.jpg http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/7807/1823.jpg |

Very nice looking airplane - but even if I could afford it, I couldn't buy it because I went to Oklahoma STATE University and it just wouldn't do to have an airplane with a registration number ending in OU! Hey - that's an idea! You ought to contact the Oklahoma University flight department (or one of the pilots that flies out of there on APC) and see if the school would be interested! >G< USMCFLYR |
Can't afford it but it looks amazing.

I'll give them a shout. By far the best kept older plane I've come across in a good while. |

Can you post a picture of the instrument panel? USMCFLYR |
Here's the only picture I have of the dash. Unfortunately the Garmin 496 was not in the aircraft when it was taken. However it is a nice flush install.

These airplanes are such a value for the money. You could spend 5 times that much and not have a better airplane. I would buy this thing, hang a Western Skyways Continental O-520 on it and add a Garmin 530. Any damage history?

Backseat http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/2044/photofy.jpg As you can tell by looking at the seats, sidewall, and headliner the interior has been well maintained. The owner is serious about selling. Aircraft will be fully detailed and delivered within continental US. Window seals are in great condition, windows show now opaqueness, no hangar rash, good tires/brakes, everything is functional. This isn't a trainer aircraft. One that has be privately owned from the beginning and always shown some TLC. The owner simply needs to sell. |
It's a strong buyer's market right now for used GA airplanes, he could have asked a lot more it a couple of years ago. On the other hand, gas prices and the economy have made it hard to unload any airplane right now. Too bad he can't hold onto it a year or two for the prices to come back around. $70k for this airplane is really low.

True but that's the going rate. If you know of anyone looking please let me know.
