Looks like they went for JetBlue E190/A220 pay minus $10….. The FO pay is better. Ejet Captains got short changed, should have been 200+ first year.

You guys happy with the rates? It's not a CBA right?

The new pay rates are just that. Only rates on paper. Nothing else changed. While the pay rates on paper move us to within a few dollars per hour of NK/F9, we still have to move the chains with the rest of our compensation/work rules. We got all this with no input from ALPA, which in my opinion is mind blowing, but the market is speaking and acting for itself. It sets a good starting point for negotiations with ALPA and MGMT. I’m not mad at the rates, but we need to focus on retirement and work rules now.

What is the divvy and is it now gone? Is the 24k for commuting still in place?

yes the original Divy is now gone. What they have done is taken the $2000 and turned it into a “pay rate raise”. In reality, all they did was convert it into a straight raise and adjust it slightly for being taxed income.

However, pilots can now set aside $1000/2000/3000 a month pre-tax from their total monthly pay to be added to their Divy account for non-taxable commuting expenses.

There are times when a union is necessary, this however, is not it.

This aged well.

Hahah, yes it did. In his defense, I still don’t understand how the company was able to raise the pay without union input. I assume it’s because we don’t have a CBA. I’m not mad at those rates, within a few bux of F9/Nk is a good starting point for when we have some elected representation.
