We don’t get asked if we will give our trip up for IOE, they call and tell us that it was taken and that we are being pay protected and put on reserve for the day. We can be reassigned and will be paid more if the reassignment is longer than the original scheduled trip

Starting up in April and was wondering if there's a breeze thread anywhere for general breeze info or is it just this one with current big 3 pilots lurking for validation, letting us know how good their life is and how bad my choice is?

Anyone know if they're trying to staff CAK with new hires or is there a chunk of pilots looking to move to the Midwest? Wasn't sure how many they're looking to stockpile until they get a couple of planes there. Seems like it could be junior with no movement.

Still hiring?

Is there any DEC hiring going on? Also does Breeze really pay a commuting bonus?

no, there are dozens of fo’s at or nearing the required 1000 hrs in the rhs upgrading
They are now self sustaining and won’t hire DEC again for the A220

This common with airlines that don't have a pilot contract. Moving days off around, no pay protection, infinite reassignments, etc., they are trying to keep labor costs as low as possible while they scale the operation up, knowing eventually when ALPA negotiates a CBA they'll never be able to do it again. I had a younger FO recently comment about how these older guys never pick up their phones on their days off. It wasn't that long ago even some Legacies didn't have pay protection for WX cancellations.

Sorry thread drift, do you guys see Breeze bringing back CMH to PVD anytime soon? That was a super convenient for my family! (flying as revenue pax)

Thx!

Correction, they never answer their phone ever, just let it go to VM first... There's a reason for that.

Negative Aspects:
  • The company's total assets have decreased significantly, primarily influenced by large redemptions and losses.
  • Cash in the operational account is critically low ($403), raising concerns about liquidity.
  • The working capital deficit still poses a risk to continuity of operations, as the company relies on completing a business combination to improve finances.
  • Continued reliance on loans from the Sponsor indicates financial instability.
  • The company has revealed various material weaknesses in internal controls over financial reporting, potentially affecting compliance and reliability of financial statements.
The financial performance indicates improvement in managing expenses, yet the company faces substantial challenges in completing a business combination and stabilizing its financial position within the required timeframe of June 26, 2025.

Does anyone know what happens on 26 June?
