Second year RJ captains at most places would be taking a paycut. I’m guessing the strategy was (pre-covid) entice RJ captains over straight into the left seat with slightly higher pay and the promise of a good seniority number, then hire low time FO’s at barely higher than regional rates so they can skip the regional purgatory.

A startup airline is probably a purgatory all its own. Think about all the problems most pilots complain about at their fully functioning airline. Now imagine all those problems x100.

For those getting interviews, what's a rough example of your qualifications?

We've seen hiring for DECs, CA qualified FOs, does anyone know if they're taking applications for "regular" FOs next?
