Sun country just recently cracked $1B in revenue for the first time guess they shouldn’t have been under major this whole time? SkyWest and Republic both make well over $2B a year, should we move them to major?

There used to be a Legacy forum and a Major/National forum. Not sure when it was redone. Probably before you were a pilot.

SkyWest and Republic are in the Regionals forum because they do not operate flights under their own code. They are feeder airlines.

Once again the Breezybois have lots of big boy feels but Breeze is not a major airline. They've never even made a profit. It's just a late career attempt by Neelman to cash in one last time. Everyone who's been in this industry more than a minute knows that DN only started it as a buyout target. And you all are being used by him with your slave wages and lack of a contract. Maybe you'll get bought out before they shut down who knows.

 

Now you’re picking and choosing when to call an airline a major when it suites your argument. You’re using the DOT definition of $1b to say breeze isn’t a major. Well, the DOT considers skywest and republic major airlines, but you don’t.

feel free to read the quarterly data and see SkyWest and Republic listed as majors. Now I don’t consider regionals, major airlines, but my point is you’re gate keeping a forum on an obscure corner of the internet for no reason.

 

Breeze is not a currently major airline. Not even close. Your feelz don't change that.
