Default Is it too late?

I have a 4 year B.S. Aerospace degree from MTSU with the emphasis of professional pilot. I have my commercial instrument multi-engine ratings and approx. 350 hours total time. Life happened and I let it get away from me for a while. Now I'm going to be 50 in December and am not satisfied with my current line of work anymore. I don't have any aspirations to go airline, I think I would be happy with a decent charter or corporate gig.

As far as medical stuff goes, I take an occasional omeprozole for occasional heartburn and I take a 30 mg losartain daily.

Long story short, is it possible to build my time and get a decent job or should I consider hanging up the dream?

It's never too late.

A regional airline recently hired a pilot aged 64.

Charter/corporate, etc., are getting more and more desperate for pilots, as the Pilot Shortage gets worse and worse.

Definitely not too old! If you are looking to jump in head first, get current, get your CFI and find a flight school that will keep you busy. I know you are not necessarily looking at the airlines, but the majors have been hiring pilots in their mid-50s so don't let that deter you. You might consider going to the regionals for a while. You get jet time and it makes you competitive for jet corporate jobs. Keep your eye on the prize!

Go for it
I am in the same boat, about to turn 46, commercial multi with 350 hours, not current. I haven't flown in years.
If i can pass the medical, i'm going for it.
We only live once...

There was a 63 year old in my regional airline ground school. He was a prior firefighter. Although he will have to retire in two years, he wanted to have some fun with his professional career. I say go for it. You will always regret not pursuing your dream.
