Quick Electronic Logbook Qs
1) Do airlines really care if you use one entry for your paper logbooks or do you need to copy line by line?
After I filled my first logbook, I started keeping an excel spreadsheet. I have about 5,500 hours in the Jeppesen Professional Logbook and 2,000 in the spreadsheet. I am targeting United, Southwest, and Delta.
2) What columns should I have?
My paper logbook has columns that I have never used like sea, helicopter, and glider. Should I include those to keep the formatting the looking the same as my paper logbook or just have columns that I actually use? In my spreadsheet I have crew member names and out/in times. Would you use those?
3) Is there an affordable affordable program that is better than Logbook Pro you would recommend?
I have already paid for it but it is just awful. So awful. I am thinking this is just a sunk cost and to not waste any more time with this antiquated POS.
