Envoy vs Air Wisconsin
Hello all,
I currently live in DFW and I’m doing flight training at a local school. Envoy seems more likable to me, flies to destinations I enjoy more, and has newer aircraft, but Air Wisconsin does have roughly 40-50% higher pay the first 3 years, according to what I can find on the company sites.
Are there any other differences I should be aware of? Also, I have a non-aviation Bachelor’s. Would getting an aviation Associate’s/Bachelor’s for the R-ATP be worth it, or should I just work on getting 1500? I’d like to end up at American, eventually.
Thank you!

Regional FO pay is all chump change. That would be my last priority, unless you have financial issues which you cannot address with lifestyle changes, ie child support, student loans.
Regionals which have other things to offer pay less.

If you want to end up at AA, then it should be a no brainier... The flow is key.
Additionally, wouldn't the fact you can drive to work more than make up for the wage gap? .... Particularly since it's just temporary (hopefully)?
