Default Who pays for ATP-CTP?

Not counting the Regional Airlines.

I’m a 3000 hour freight dog. Regionals would be a substantial pay cut. I’m a little tired of the fly by night, get no sleep, 14 hour days plus a part 91 leg to get you back to base stuff. I’ve been looking at moving to a jet job but the only problem is most employers want you to come in with that ATP for any captain position. Which employers will type you and pay for the ATP-CTP?

3k hours and no ATP?
Go get one yourself, then ask employer to pay for a type.

Yep. That's probably what I'll end up doing.
