Looking at the following (in this order) for prep..

Cage
Emerald Coast
Centerline
Aero Crew

Any suggestions or recommendations out there?

The new hire FO I just flew with had lots of good things to say about Centerline.

I think the most important thing is just to do any one of them.

 

Emerald gives a good product for the masses. Video and audio instruction from Aaron Hagan are very informative. Webinars and Seminars are good for practicing fundamentals and building a playbook. Phone top-off product is ok but difficult to practice things like eye contact etc and can lack the energy of an interview. Staff is knowledgeable and plugged into many of the hiring processes.

Cage is highly personalized. You will get many hours of 1v1 prep time and you can schedule your final "top off" with their staff the day before your UAL interview and it will be a "mock" interview...and its across the street from DenTK where they will look at your paperwork, resume etc. You will get less academic preparation materials and you will not have access to "unlimited" webinars like ECIC. Staff is highly wired to the hiring process at UAL due to their history with the company.

I'm unfamiliar with the products from Centerline and Aerocrew but I'm sure they are of similar quality I just don't know their delivery method. Another to consider is FAPA.

Recommend you assess your timeline and learning style. If you have an interview scheduled and have already done some homework in prep for UAL - probably go Cage. If you don't have an interview and are early in the process the ECIC product is good but it takes some time to work through the audio/video lessons.

Aerocrew posted a webinar job fair from UAL. Listen to what Susan White says about the face to face interview. From what she says in that webinar it almost sounds as if people have tried to take "stories" from ECICs videos to the interview and they have heard them all.

 

Both Checked and Set and Raven Career Development offer a wide variety of airline pilot application services. Both have major airline pilots on their staff. Each is quite different, a little do diligence is required to decide if one works for you. Both of them have a significant number of clients hired by the majors each year.

I used Emerald Coast and 100% credit them with getting the job.

I chose them over Cage because they had a seminar I could drive to, during my days off. Coming from a cargo carrier without pass benefits, it would have been a bit difficult for me to get to Denver to do the Cage prep at the time I needed it.

The online study material was great, the top off wonderful, but maybe the best part was the CRM prep. Of course, I had used CRM for years but the EC prep showed me exactly what the technical interview would look like. It was unlike any other interview experience I had previously seen, so being able to 'chair fly' it before the session was priceless.

Don’t sell yourself short. I would say that the hard work you put in over the years allows you to take 90% of the credit and give the rest to EC.

Walking out of TK after the interview I knew I nailed it. EC showed me how to show United my best. It was still me, I didn't change, but there is no doubt I shined brighter thanks to the EC polish.
