Default Primary checkride failures

I wanted some input and thought on some GA checkride failures I have experienced.

In short, I’m working towards gaining hours and experience, and want some suggestions how to overcome my own personal skeletons in my closet. The biggest obstacle I’ve creared for myself is 4 GA busts.
Any suggestions on how I can increase my chances of getting a call from my dream legacy airline in the future?

Short stat summary (I know I’m low time and have a lot of other things to do before I am even looked at a legacy, but want to see if any of you have hiring insight):
-500 TT
-3.3 college GPA business administration
-4 checkride busts (all on add-ons: priv ME, com SE, CFI SE x2)
-8 checkrides taken so far (priv SE, Priv ME, instr, Com SE, Com ME, CfI, CFII, MEI.
-Minority applicant
-lots of volunteering hours/community service
-two minor speeding tickets 6 years ago

I wouldn’t worry night and day about the past. Focus on getting well rounded flight time. Maybe some more instruction, some 135 Multi TPIC, become a training Captain or Checkairman. Keep the hours rolling in. Go to a 121 regional or LLC at some point and keep building experience in a variety of operations.

The biggest thing you can do is not bust any more rides. You should still be able to get on with a regional carrier. Better make darn sure you don’t have any busts there. If you demonstrate that you can pass a 121 training program and enough time passes, you still can get hired at a major airline. I had a few Part 141 stage check busts and was hired at a legacy but there was 8 years or so from the last bust which included part 135 and Part 121 training success.... Also in any interview you must demonstrate what you’ve learned and never, NEVER make any excuses.

This is also one of the benefits of instructing. When you are instructing, you can take your weakest areas and make them your strongest. You have the time to totally de-construct the maneuvers/tasks and come up with strategies, procedures, techniques, and references that work repeatedly and reliably. In teaching them to other people, you reinforce all of these things. This has to be one of the best things about instructing, not even so much that you become much more knowledgeable and a better flier overall, but that you can bring up your weakest areas and make them your strongest.
