I have an appointment for a 1st class medical coming up. Want to make sure I pass that before I start.
I can move anywhere in the country at anytime. Considering my age, 35, and having no wife, no kids, no girlfriend and no obligations, should I set my goal at senior CA at a Regional or can I shoot higher? Maybe a narrow body CA at a Major? Providing all training goes well, no recession, no mishaps, etc.
Also, are there any specific hubs that are not popular with pilots? If I were to be stationed there, would that allow me to climb the ladder faster?

I understand. I know that comes before anything. I have Excel spreadsheets with simulations of different pricing, costs, time and scenarios.
PPL, IR, CPL, CP, CPL-ME, CFI, CFI-I and CFI-ME are all in there under Part 141 hours so I can use my VA benefits.
I just like to write a list of short and long term goals.

When I started, my long term goal was Pan Am. When I actually started flying, they were beginning furloughs (1970-ish). They furloughed or retired pilots for the next 16 years before recalling, by then I was at Eastern, see how that worked out. I did see my name on the Eastern Airlines plaque in the ATL terminal. Planning an aviation career demands some flexibility even in today’s easy times.
While at the ATL plaque last week, I meet a former EA pilot, he went to UA and was returning to work after losing his medical for 7 years. Two years to age 65 for him.

CA upgrade up at the best majors was recently 9+ years on the west coast... but 9 months in the northeast.
