Please be aware that sound judgement, regarding family welfare, tends go by the wayside when the aviation bug becomes a priority above all else. Increased separation from family has resulted in countless divorces irrespective of pilot income or airline flown for.

Take your kids to the Czech Republic while they’re still (very) young and just make it work.
They’ll thank you later.
Education, healthcare and food are just so much better in Europe.
Start reading the Atlas thread, go back a year or two. Fixed pattern lines, paid for commute and 13-15 days off a month make living outside the USA very easy.
By all means don’t believe me and do your own research.
They’ll thank you later.

I want to say thank you to all who had taken the time to read and respond. I didn't mean to write a book about my whole lifes history but none the less, I appreciate everyones input that I couldn't have gotten anywhere else.
Looks like the the first regional that will hire me then start aiming for Atlas is the way forward.

While I have known a few people to do it, regional lifestyle would make it tough to commute to Europe.
I'd prioritize getting regional time and upgrade asap, THEN go to an ACMI or major and move to Europe.
If you want the fam to be able to nonrev (harder with young kids than just an adult or two) look at regionals that have nonrev privileges on multiple major airlines. Devil is in the details.

Republic and SkyWest will give you travel benefits on more airlines but I understand you get priority beneath all those airlines active employees and wholly owned employees. AA gives priority to whichever of their employees and wholly owned employees check in first. There are arguments for both. It's probably still best to take the first class date at a regional you can get.
