Default Part-time employement/Gaps

So I know airlines (or most jobs I guess) are really picky about employment gaps/history.

My question is since May I have been part-time instructing at my flight school, so almost a year now. It's not the greatest but I am getting 20-30 hours/month flight time in addition to ground training.

Would the airlines view that part time as an "employment gap" since it was not full? The reason I am only part time is due to obvious decline in aviation, I can't be hired full time till current full time employees leave (and that means the airlines have to start hiring). I am hoping by the end of summer I should be full time but no idea for sure.

Any thoughts on this or is this a "black eye"?
