Default Eagle hiring process

Hi,

anyone can tell me whats the hiring process in Am Eagle?

Time from the interview call until the interview day?

Is the interview like it says in mypilotcareer???

How lonng does it take to receive the "YES, you are hire" call?

Can you chose your base or do they assigned to you? If you can chose, do they give you some time to decide?

How long from the "YES, you are hire" until training?

All of this can be answered in the Hiring forum

Airlineapps.com..get selected..make it through a two day interview process (maybe shortened..i heard they've changed their interview policies slightly). I had my stuff walked in..so i'm not sure how fast the process is from application to phone call...but mine was probably about a month

You'll have to wait "one month and one week" at most..if it's more than that they have you call them after that time frame to see what is holding up your background check

The first day of class, they come in and tell the class what is needed..seniority picks

If they need 8 ORD CRJ FOs and 3 MIA ATR FOs..well..if you're number 11 in the class (Seniority wise)..you get whatever is left

I got the call in mid april..i'm still waiting for a class date...i was about 30 in line for the class on 5/24..but it was full..so with 5-10 people in each class, every two weeks..my guess is early august (8/2) for my class date

He's doing better with English as his second language than many people do after speaking it their entire lives. It's the people who come to this country and don't even put forth an effort to learn the language that I get annoyed with. When I worked as a cashier at Sam's Club (making more than I do now) I had a lot of customers who only spoke Spanish. I could speak a fair amount of Spanish and would do my best to get through the transaction using what I knew and some of them would actually laugh at me to my face when I'd say something incorrectly. Seemed a bit backwards to me. So yeah, cut the guy some slack.

I'll give you that, I appreciate the effort of trying. But to be a professional and speak that way is unacceptable. I admire the guy for working his way into flying, but if he came here to get a job flying, that's nice but we're all set. We already have too many pilots. When I instructed, we had a guy who had a bad stutter. Yeah, I think its awesome he's out there flying GA. But as a professional, your image needs to be upheld that you convey command of the aircraft. If you don't even demonstrate command of your language, what does that say to the passengers? I would never imagine going to LAN Chile and stammering through a language. But so everyone is clear, this is not a race or ethnicity thing. It was solely a comment that if you are going to use poor grammar, then you will be perceived poorly.
