I'm currently instructing with hopes of getting hired in a couple months (1 interview completed already(GLA) and 2 more on the way).
My question is should I take the ATP written now or wait?
I was thinking about taking it and using sheppardair. I've heard good things. Who has used sheppard and how long did you study for?

I would second what the above poster wrote about Sheppard air. You study for about 3 hours and pull out a 96%. Best program out there.
I would get the ATP written as almost 95% of all regionals out there require it as of right now.

Get your written done. In my case it was what set me apart from the other 3 guys I interviewed with. Four years ago and I still remember the interviewer's positive reaction when he saw that I had taken it before coming in.
