Default Air Wis application

Hey all.

Any idea how long it takes for Air Wisconsin to review your application? I submitted mine the first part of Feb and I haven't heard a word ( not even a denial ). Also what specific questions do they ask on there interview written?

from application to first phonecall typically takes a couple years.. and they don't have an interview since they never call anyone...

I applied last year... got called, but didn't answer the phone... it was strange that they didn't bother to leave a message... I knew it was them because the caller ID said "Air Wisconsin"

I have had the same experience. I look on the website and it says not reviewed. It was submitted in January and updated periodically since. Previously, I applied in late 2009 also but I got a "not being considered" that time. I even had one of their check examiners from ORF ask HR about my app and I got nothin'. My old app is on there with the not being considered but my new app is still listed as having not been reviewed.

I have a question about the updates/adding a resume on the website application. I can update my profile but no where to add or update the resume. I have tried many times to get Cathy Lucas but it always goes to voicemail.

I assume that you have already heard that they cancelled a bunch of classes.

Strange bunch at Air Wis. My application dated 11-03-10 still reads "not reviewed". I did get a call about an A&P job which ended up being line maintenance in Philly, I told them I was all set.

I interviewed at AWAC a few months ago, my application status changed after I got a phone call to interview... and there is no interview written.

How was the interview process? Also what type of sim do they use?

The interview process is fairly laid back. If you get one, you already have the experience requirements they're looking for, so the interview is mostly about if they could stand to be in a cockpit with you on a 4-day trip. For right now, there is no sim. I have heard talk of that changing because the last few recent classes had a 40% fail rate. As of right now, hiring has stopped because we are back at required levels. I suspect that attrition will pick up again towards the end of summer and they will start hiring again.
