Default Should i start applying?

Im currently flying overseas finishing up a year contract, my contract is up beginning of December should i start sending out my resume now? Is 3 months to early? One problem is that I cant leave here for a interview if i get called. Or should i hold off till i have about 1.5 months left? Im pretty much going to be sending my resume to everyone and their mom.

Also I have thought about returning to my job for 3 more months just to wait out applying during the holidays and finish up my 1000 PIC turbine, is applying during the holidays going cut down on my chances of getting a call?

Im also going to be applying for some DOD turboprop jobs overseas, I heard that applying to them 3 months early would be a good move, anyone have insight on this?

Thanks

Why would you come back if you can wait an additional three months and have the 1000 turbine PIC?

I Went to A&P school straight out of high school, i dont have a 4 year degree, there is only so much Africa one can handle. The 1000 Pic turbine is a req for jobs i probably wont get for 4+ years because i dont have a degree.

My real concern is i apply tomorrow... I get a email a 2 weeks later for a interview in 2 weeks, "Oh btw i dont get back to the states for another 2 months" is what im worried about.

Usually when you apply for jobs you can specify your availability date...it's common for mil guys to start applying while still on active duty.
