Default Build time?

How are we suppose to build time if almost all jobs require 500TT or more and people only finish school with 200-300TT. Even banner towing requires hours and some arent hiring. Kills me not to know what to do with my life.

Do you have your CFI??? Or are you opposed to teaching? If so good luck, paying your dues like every professional pilot before you.

USAF or USN, perhaps?

It's the old fashioned way for you young 'uns.

GF

PS, not to deride the USA or the USMC

Everyone tells me thats the fastest way to build time, but no I dont have my CFI, I wouldnt mind it, but I feel im just getting myself in more debt pretty much like most pilots. I would like to get it somewhere down the line after I save more money, even though I know its probably best if I get it now which would look good on most applications, too many thoughts and decisions to make are going through my mind.

A commercial ticket is pretty much worthless when you first get it. Getting your CFI is a must to further your career. It also teaches you a lot about flying and is an extremely rewarding ticket to earn.

Might as well get it now, renewals are offered online at some places and many are free after the first one. Down the line if you already have a flying job you probably won't want to do it.
