Forum Pet Peeve
Probably gonna get an earful, but one pet peeve I have of these forums. Guys that ask should I go to this airline vs. this airline without even applying or interviewing. Why don't you interview at both places, get a job offer from both places, then come on the forum and ask for an opinion. I understand you want all the info you need, but isn't that kinda like putting the cart before the horse? It cracks me up when guys say should I go to Fedex or SWA. Well have you interviewed at either, "nope not yet."

If thought I had a reasonable chance of getting an interview in the near future, I would be asking those questions too. Especially if there's a significant other involved, you need to have time to think things through. When I hit the competitive ME time bar back in the day my phone started ringing, everybody called at once.
But there are occasionally folks with no 121 experience who obviously assume they are entitled to and will get their choice of several airline jobs...you just have to roll your eyes.

I don't see it as entitlement to want to get info and narrow it down to just a few companies. I didn't "know" I was going to get hired, but I was willing to wait it out and keep trying for a little while before moving on.
