I realized after I made this post that there were more just like it. But since I see people have viewed it I might as well respond to it. I went in last week for the interview and most of what you see on other gouges are right on.
FIRST... do you paper work right! Have everything filled out in advance and if you have questions on anything call them before the interview. Make sure your logbook is in order. And if you are military you can give them the print out of your flight time from the military. (I am not military but one guy got sent home because I guess they didnt like his format and another military guy just handed his logbooks and printout in and they seemed to like that. You should call them if you have a question.)
Two guys sent home because of logbooks.
HR: pretty easy just relax and be personable.
TECH:
Know how to read Jepps.
Know how to decode METARS and TAF.
Know lost comm.
Memorize the packet they will send you a week before the interview.
If I remember more I will add it later but that was the major stuff.
SIM:
I have very little sim time so this was challenging for me but for most people probably a breeze. Know how to copy and explain a hold, I explained it well and they didnt make me fly it. Use the evaluator as a co-pilot, they want you to delegate. MEMORIZE the call outs you will receive a week before.
Everyone was very nice. Out of five of us (two airline pilots, one retired military, one young military and me a CFI with little corporate experience) the retired military guy and myself got pre-offers.
My advise... if you want the job study for it. If you study you will do fine.
Thank you to those who posted about there experiences I believed that really helped me.
