OSHA has nothing to do with the MEL. Tell them your next phone call is to the feds. I had to do that once or twice with a crappy 121 supplemental outfit I flew for in the past. But make sure you got your ducks in a row.

Yes OSHA has no jurisdiction in aviation, that is all the FAA.
Sometimes I wish they did...there are a lot of things we do that just wouldn't fly in any other industry (pun intended).
