Business and MBA degrees

AACSB: If you are spending $$ for an MBA, get one that is AACSB school. Trust me guys. I have researched that very question extensively.

An MBA isn't too bad as Master's go, but for god's sake, make sure it's something that is relevant and something you are interested in. I have a similar undergrad, but actually got my Master's in something interesting and good. I think it helped me immensely, and it's nice having a "useful" degree, vs my undergrad. Overall, go for the Master's IMO. If you really want to get on with a major, you are competing with everyone else, regional captains, military drivers, etc, so you want to stand out. Whether it's cost effective, I don't know, but not much is about our profession.

Makes sense with mil guys since you're pretty much forced to get one. But are there really many folks who came up civ route that have masters?
The data was probably Kit Darby stuff back in the day, but like I said it's skewed because of the mil demographic.

I think every airline app I've ever filled out asks the question, so they must care at least a little.

I have mine...never been a disqualifying factor for a job. I completed it for me - and enjoyed every class I completed.
